My Review:

I will start off by saying I am PICKY when it comes to the Buffyverse tales that I enjoy… HOWEVER! Spike is literally my favorite character EVER so the bar was set VERY HIGH. Ok? VERY. HIGH. This book did not disappoint. William did a great job of capturing the beloved Spike’s voice, demeanor, while peppering in lore that happened in the actual show. Just amazing!! Spike would definitely approve of this tale about him. I do however feel this would have done amazing as a NA novel if not adult. Spike’s voice lends super well to a more mature audience so I was a bit disappointed with how tamer this was. Still great though!
