This book focuses more on Yvette and her story and while it was enjoyable I love Elena and would have loved for it to focus back on her. Elena was more of a secondary character whose success hinges on her finding Yvette. I enjoyed the story though I did find that it was predictable like the first one. I think Luanne is a great storyteller and can’t wait to see what happens in the next book which I’m sure will follow yet another character. Overall, I recommend this series especially if you love witches and quick reads!
