I received an ARC of this book from the publisher in exchange for an honest review. All thoughts are my own. This review will contain some spoilers for Sweet Black Waves so please do not read if you have not read Sweet Black Waves.

Synopsis:

Inspired by the legend of Tristan and Iseult, Wild Savage Stars is the spellbinding sequel to Sweet Black Waves.

Please see my review of Sweet Black Waves for the synopsis and my thoughts.

My Review:

5/5

Yes I still find Essy to be incredibly annoying. And magic or not I found Tristan to be completely ridiculous in this book. Loved Ruan though, he and the Queen Mother were a nice treat! And of course Branny slipping further was also really awesome, though tragic. I was blown away by that ending and actually SCREAMED like OMG. I can’t even. I’m really not over it!! Branny basically giving up her humanity and not caring for Essy anymore was honestly… Like I really loved it but also felt such sorrow for poor Branny. She’s always put her love of Essy basically above her own well-being. Essy didn’t care, she’s a brat. Bleh.

This book releases August 27th!
